Stand Up Curriculum

The range in which both combatants are on their feet. Fighting in this range pulls extensively from Boxing and Muay Thai Kickboxing. At SBGi World Headquarters in Portland we draw heavily on a long tradition of strong boxing training. And you will find many avenues available for training stand up. These include MMA classes, kickboxing classes, and boxing classes as taught by coaches with decades of experience.
